Father and Son Duo Can Inspire Anyone

Team Hoyt is a truly incredible story of a father and son who compete together in marathons, Ironman competitions, and endurance challenges alike. What makes this story so remarkable is because the son Rick Hoyt, is a spastic quadriplegic with cerebral palsy. His father, Dick Hoyt, pushes him in a special cart while running, pulls him in a raft while swimming, and bikes with him in a special bicycle while bike riding.

“If he was physically able to do something he would probably play basketball, or football, or hockey, but then he always says ‘No the first thing he’d do is have me sit down in his wheelchair and he push me.”

If this can’t get you off the couch for some exercise, I’m not sure anything will.
